    • Obtained a Masters in Administration

    • Completed Educational requirements and took State Board Tests in January 1999.

    • Obtained a Bachelor of Liberal Arts Degree at Baldwin-Wallace College.
    • Major:  History (Including American, European, and Asian) 

Berea City School District – (August 1998 – Current)
Teacher in the social studies department teaching classes in:  U.S. History, World History, and Minorities, from honors to team-taught classes.  Created the curriculum for the Minorities class.  Served on Building Committee for four years, and District Grading Committee for two years.

A.V.I.D. Elective Teacher at Berea High School– (2012 – 2016)
Advancement Via Individual Determination - Supervise tutorials; teach reading, writing, inquiry and collaborative skills, and team building activities.  Use these various teaching strategies for students in the AVID class.

MAX Teaching, Inc. – (April 2012 – Current)
Consultant for Staff Development Workshops on implementing MAX teaching strategies in the classroom.  Demonstrated and observed the content and literacy strategies at Frederick Douglas High School in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Warrensville High School in Warrensville, Ohio, and for the Cleveland Metropolitan School District.  Also did a training workshop in Little Rock, Arkansas, assisting teachers in learning to use MAX strategies.  Led TBT meetings at Warrensville High School.
