Shelby Moore is an accomplished educator with a passion for inspiring young minds and fostering a love for learning. Born and raised with a natural curiosity and dedication to education, Shelby pursued her higher education at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania. There, she earned a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, laying the foundation for her career in teaching. Eager to further her expertise and specialize in mathematics, Shelby continued her academic journey at Walden University. She earned a Master's degree in Middle School Mathematics.

With over 20 years of dedicated service in the Armstrong School District, Shelby has made a significant impact across various educational roles. Her extensive experience includes working in gifted education, inclusion co-teaching, and teaching fifth and sixth grades. Shelby is currently teaching social studies and English Language Arts (ELA) to sixth-grade students in an elementary setting.  She lives in Kittanning, PA with her two children, Kendall and Kamden.
